Additional Rule:

Candidates who complete all 130 compulsory questions within the allotted time are allowed to attempt 12 additional questions. These extra questions are drawn from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology. Once a candidate opts to attempt the extra questions, all 12 must be answered, and they are evaluated using the same marking scheme (+3, −1).
